Assassin’s Creed Odyssey does not run on all processors

No sooner had the release of the game Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, as many players began to storm Ubisoft with the letters about the inability to play the purchased version on the PC. It turned out that the whole problem is that this game requires a support for the AVX instruction processor. Without these instructions, the game simply does not start. For example: if you have a processor from Intel of the second or previous generation, you will not be able to play, because these instructions did not exist yet. (minimum requirements are for i5-2400 processor).
Ubisoft company quickly responded to the letter and came out with a statement to solve the problem in the near future. It is expected that with the release of the new patches, the list of the processors on which you can play Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will increase significantly.
