Gigabyte has decided to change the name marking of gaming motherboards manufactured under the brand name Aorus. Previously, the numerical designation was used depending on the class of the devices: Gaming 3, Gaming 5, Gaming 7, Gaming 9 and UltraGaming. The new family of boards is called: Elite, Ultra, Master, Xtreme and Pro, respectively.
On the eve of the release of Intel processors of the ninth generation, Gigabyte prepares for a release of the younger representative of a new line – Z390 Aorus Elite. One of the key features is the presence of RGB backlight, located in different areas of the motherboard, with the ability to connect additional tapes. Here should be noted an excellent cooling system that is installed in locations with a strong heating.
Motherboard format Full-ATX has four slots for RAM format DDR4 with the ability to install modules with a total capacity up to 64 gigabytes. For installing compact solid-state drives there are two M. 2 slots, one of which has its own radiator for the heat sink. Expansion slots are represented by four PCI-E 3.0 x1 and two PCI Express 3.0 x16. The rear panel has USB 3.0 and USB 3.1 ports, Gigabyte Ethernet, several mini-Jack sockets and other necessary connectors.
The budget model of the future line of Aorus motherboards will visit the market this fall. According to the various assumptions, the cost of Z390 AorusElite will be from 150 to 200 dollars.
