Oculus Studios together with Lucasfilm presented an interesting project called Vader Immortal. This will be the first game of the famous franchise, released specifically for the virtual reality headsets. In the development of Vader Immortal is involved a screenwriter David S. Goyer, who is a writer and a producer of the trilogy of the dark knight, as well as a director of Blade: Trinity. An english studio developer Ninja Theory (Enslaved, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, Dysney Infinity) acts as a consultant. Almost nothing is known about the new game. Vader Immortal is the first part of a future trilogy on the Star Wars Universe, and the storyline takes us through the events between «Star Wars Episode III. Revenge of the Sith» and «Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope».
It is noteworthy that the project is exclusive to the VR helmet Oculus Quest. This headset is completely autonomous and does not require connection to a powerful PC, giving gamers more freedom of action, unlike their counterparts.
