The leading position in the market of quadrocopters for the last few years is occupied by DJI. Yuneec company opened a pre-order for a folding drone, superior to the characteristics of DJI Spark, not up to DJI MavicAir, but very similar to it.
Mantis Q can boast of a camera with 1/3.06 inch sensor, capable of video recording 3840 x 2160 (4K) at 30 frames per second and without any optical stabilization. The device supports recording in 1920 x 1080 (full HD) with image stabilization and a frame rate of 30 or 60 FPS. The viewing angle of the installed camera is 117 degrees.
The quadcopter Mantis Q has a voice control function, which greatly facilitates the use. You can turn on the drone, take a photo or start video recording without any use of additional devices. The same control is possible with the remote control, which is included.
Quite often these products have different types of shooting, and the device from the startup Yuneec is not an exception. When you turn on a certain mode, the copter can fly around the selected target or follow it, as well as return to the owner at pushing the button.
The flight time of the mini drone is 33 minutes, which is quite a lot compared to competing devices. With a weight of 480 grams and dimensions of 250mm × 187mm × 58 mm, Mantis Q is able to reach speeds of up to 21.5 km/h in normal flight. After activating the sports mode, the speed increases to 72 km / h. It is worth noting that being folded (168mm × 96mm × 58 mm), the drone can easily fit in any backpack, bag or even in a large pocket.
Mantis Q is available for pre-order in two versions: Standard ($499) and extended, with an additional set of screws and a second battery ($649).
