Facebook has announced a series of displays for video chats. The devices were named Portal and Portal+, they consist of a display, a column and a camera and are combined into the one module. By the means of this device, you can easily contact the interlocutor and conduct a video dialogue without interrupting the daily routine. The video camera has a wide viewing angle, which eliminates the problem of static location of the interlocutor in front of the camera.
For security reasons, the eye of the camera is provided with a protective screen, so that even when it is turned on, the interlocutor is invisible to the users who connect to his device without his knowledge.
