Thus, the users received 70% increase in speed of work with the camera, 50% acceleration of the keyboard and 40% increase in speed with opened applications. These improvements affected not only to the last year’s devices (iPhone X, etc.), but older devices too (iPhone 5S, iPadAir, etc.).
Animoji for iPhone X did not remain without attention. The list was supplemented by four new masks: Tyrannosaurus, Ghost, Koala and Tiger. To transfer facial expressions, was added the reading of movements of the user’s tongue. Also there was an opportunity to create Memoji, previously implemented by Samsung developers in their devices.
The application iMessage got a full photo and video for easy screen capture and instant upload. Photos and videos can be easily processed directly in iMessage.
Augmented Reality technology-ARKit has been updated to the second version and brought with it the ability to view virtual objects from different angles, which expands the possibilities for the creators of special games and programs. On the basis of ARKit 2.0 was developed a new application «Measure», which allows you to measure the size and angles of real objects with your smartphone. It is worth noting that the program has high accuracy, compared to analogues from the AppStore and PlayMarket.
In the new version of the OS, Apple has implemented the ability to monitor the use of the gadget in detail. With this function, the user can limit the time of use of an application, if it takes too much time. You can also track which of the applications consumes the most battery power and turn it off if necessary.
