Children’s smart watch Xiaoxun Children Smartwatch S1, released by Xiaomi in 2017, has been updated and now the corporation has announced the second generation of the gadget, Xiaoxun Children Smartwatch S2.
The devices are presented in bright colors. The strap is remotely reminiscent of Casio G-shock and is made of durable silicone. 1.3 inch IPS screen is covered with tempered 2.5 d glass. It is worth noting that the watch is protected from dust and moisture (the standard is unknown). One of the features is the camera which located on the screen. Such a decision will allow parents, in real time, to see the child at the very moment. The function is controlled by a special application on the smartphone. Also, for safety, the gadget is equipped with a GPS module that can accurately determine the location. By pressing the SOS button, the child will be able to notify their relatives of a troubled situation. After pressing the button, the device sends a notification with coordinates to the specified phone number.
Almost all the wearable gadgets have a set of sport options, and Xiaoxun Children Smartwatch S2 is not an exception. Calorie counter, steps and distance counter will help to track the performance of the owner. In addition, there are various entertainment functions in the children’s watch. The support of voice calls will help to stay connected, and the voice assistant will translate information from a foreign language, including music or even support communication. The 730mAh rechargeable battery will provide up to nine hours of talk time, and up to seven days of simple use.
At the moment, it is possible to buy children’s smart watches only in the Chinese market, at the price of 299 yuan ($45).
