The representative of the company said that Kirin chips are the intellectual property, not a way of earning. In addition, it is noted that the devices are an advantage over other brands. It follows that Huawei is not going to sell its processors to the third-party developers.
It is worth noting that the first mobile processor developed using a 7-nm process was presented at the IFA 2018. Kirin 980 received an increased number of transistors (6.9 billion), 8 productive cores (4 Cortex-A76, 4 Cortex-A55) and a 10-core graphics accelerator Mali-G76.
